Quite often that kind of issue is caused by some kind of software conflict and can be mitigated by reducing the number of programs running while you play. It's probably the gpu 2gb memory i got recently a Ryzen 5 and have no issues with the a 4gb card and have memory restriction off meaning it's not getting memory from my system only the vram is being used i assume.
